With the video Better Run Run Jay-Z sparked the feud when he mentions about the much-publicized dissolution of MC Hammer's hefty fortune in Kanye West's song "So Appalled". Jigga raps, "Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused/ I lost 30 mil' so I spent another 30/ 'Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can't hurt me."
